TASTE OF THE WEST AWARDS 2011

We have won a GOLD Taste of the West Award in the Cafe/Tearoom category for the second year runnin g . Congratulations to our Suppliers who also won awards including Mendip Moments Ice Cream who won Gold for their Chocoholic Chunk as well as a Silver and 2 Bronzes for other flavours. We are unsurprised that Clipper's Everyday Tea won a Gold Award - we have so many positive comments about it from our customers - but four further Clipper Teas won gold as well as various silver and bronze awards.





TASTE OF DORSET AWARDS 2011

We are delighted to have been named Dorset's Best Cafe/Tearoom for the third year in a row . A total of 98 establishments were nominated by you, the public, and an anonymous judge then visited the top three. At the Awards Dinner, the judge declared our scones to be "outstanding" and she particularly liked our Savoury Cream Tea with its homemade cheese scones, chutney and cream cheese.

In addition, we were shortlisted for the "Taste" category of the South West Tourism Excellence Awards which aim to "promote and reward the very best in the tourism industry". The other four finalists in this category included some of the region's top restaurants, pubs and hotels.
